One Day Festival – A day committed to Travel and Tourism festival by Manipur Tourism Department.This day is celebrated every year having particular theme for making aware the people all over the world. The theme of 2016 would be “Tourism for All – promoting universal accessibility”.

Mapao Village:Located 16 kilometres from Imphal inhibited by the Tangkhul Tribes, the village has about 120 households with a population of 500 approximately in the midst of the lush green valley surrounded by the majestic hills, Mapao is one of the cleanest village in North east India . In Mapao village, tidying up is a ritual that everyone – from tiny toddlers to toothless grannies – takes very seriously. This small, village in the Senapati District in Manipur is renowned as the one of the cleanest village in Northeast India.
