| Apart from Thangal Bazaar, now almost 80-90% of the shops along the stretch from Nagamapal Pukhri Achouba to BT Flyover is also being occupied and run by many non-Manipuri shop owners and our Manipuri Emas (mothers) try adjusting themselves on the roadside selling pity items and vegetables (facing the wrath and atrocities of the Traffic Control and City Police from time to time apart from cold and sun!). Can’t anyone of us see this as a CLEAR SIGN and a LIVE EXAMPLE of the outsiders population overriding that of the locals in the area and our lands and business opportunities going into the hands of these all-weather-resistant non-Manipuri traders, leaving us pushed off, indefensible and humiliated in our own land? Just have a glimpse of the said area and you will see the real eye-opening scenario! And we will not know when they will have become the majority in most parts of the Nagamapal area and further into the adjacent Leikais and then further on and on…..If you have already seen or feel this scenario disturbing and/or threatening even in its slightest form, you can support this opinion by using your Votes, and touch wood, we may probably (need to) find a legitimate solution to this serious issue sooner rather than later!
